In 2000, I completed a six-month contract as the writer/media specialist for Douglas College’s Communications and Marketing Office.

In addition to writing and distributing press releases and the college’s monthly newsletter, I led a project to produce the college’s Fall 2000 Community Report (560 KB PDF).

I wrote most of the Community Report’s text and edited all of it. I also took several of the photographs and proofread the final document.

The Communications and Marketing Office’s production staff took care of the graphic design and printing.
